Empower Boone only has 3 part-time paid staff members, which allows us to focus monetary donations on the purchase of food. With limited staff on-site, we lean to our neighbors, who volunteer their valuable time and manpower. Volunteers are neighbors who need community service hours for school, or court-mandated community service, or simply neighbors helping neighbors.
